CCW Breakaways was born in 2007. We began our manufacturing at a factory in the USA that had been in business for over 50 years. Their expertise in garment-making helped launch our entreprenurial endeavor. Unfortunately, the impact of the global 2008 crash ultimately led to their doors being closed in 2012.
Since then, we've tried to start-up four other factories . . . but it has been difficult because the whole garment supply chain was distrupted.
To our existing customers . . . "thanks" for all your support during the season of inventory shortage. With our new factory, I think you'll find our product quality is even better than what you've worn in the past.

Out-Of-Stocks . . . Are we alone in this problem?
America (and the world) adopted the Just-In-Time manufacturing philosophy during the 1980's. It is an approach that lowers inventories and costs in the supply chain . . . but it also provides no resilency when a hiccup occurs . . . and mature folks know, hiccups are a normal part of life. This manufacturing approach is short-sighted, but it is the world-of-manufacturing as it now exists. The snippet below show the impact of a hiccup and the impact to customers worldwide.
We're sorry for our out-of-stocks, but please know that CCW Breakaways is rebounding in 2016 with two new factories that will provide the longer-term resiliency that is needed to meet your CCW needs.
What triggered this problem? Why the Extended Time of Out-Of-Stocks?
Since the 2008 crash of the economy, the news media has reported numerous business failures in our nation and globally . . . millions of jobs have been affected worldwide. The garment industry was hit especially hard . . . and even more so for the suppliers in the "non-big-box-store" arena . . . which are the type of factories that supply garments to us.
We produce a "specialty" garment and we don't place orders for 100's of thousands of pants in one order (like the big guys), and neither can other specialty companies like us. Our three former suppliers just could not survive economically . . . two former factories being in the USA . . . and the other former factory being off-shore. This situation has caused us to run out of inventory in some of our products and we are sorry that this is causing an inconvenience to your ordering.
The surviving "specialty" factories are struggling even more with cost, and labor, and government taxation, and delivery issues. The few that have survived were not able to meet our quality and cost requirements . . . but we never gave up!
And in today's violence and terror-conscience world, our product demand is greater than ever. It is unfortunate that our three former factories failed to deliver the products we ordered . . . but quite simply . . . they just did not survive the economic unpredictability of the marketplace.
CCW Breakaways and the American garment industry have huge problems to solve . . . but 2016 looks promising. We have two new sources in the pre-production pre-qualification phase right now. It takes time to get all the requirement right and we're within sight of the production goal line.
